Maradona

Based on original pencil portraits that were part of a pair of illustrations commissioned by HG Estudio for a private project, I created a pair of fictional posters for the acclaimed 2019 documentary about the life of footballer Diego Maradona, directed by Asif Kapadia. Constructed from 500 hours of previously unseen archival footage, it explores Maradona's meteoric rise and the price of fame. The illustrations include original pencil drawings on Fabriano paper (A1 size), remastered and colored in Adobe Photoshop. Art Direction by Heriberto Guerrero (Hg Estudio)
